Michael Alan Band

Michael Alan is a rock instrumental guitarist and I joined his band alongside Lincoln J Roth. I enjoyed the material and the challenge of playing without any vocal queues but there was unfortunately a very limited market for the material. We played a few gigs including the Black Heart in London, R-Fest in Manchester and Studio 5 Live in Keighley. Ultimately I was fired from the band due to lack of commitment but it was never going to work out. I got to meet Dave Johnson during this time who is a true gent.

Michael Alan continues to write and record his own unique brand of music. I played on the track 'Road to Glory' and was part of the official video for this single release on Michael's solo album 'Calling'. During the video shoot, we mimed to the track but there was no PA, just a small CD player so we couldn't hear a thing! For me, it's a tough watch as my miming is terrible!!
