The Mokk Lads are an all fun Anglo/Norwegian band playing tribute to Macclesfield's controversial band 'The Macc Lads'. I met singer Haavard Gulbrandsen whilst on holiday in France and we got talking and ended up sharing a love for The Macc Lads. Almost 7 years later, he emailed me out of the blue asking if I'd play drums for an upcoming Macc Lads tribute show in Macclesfield he was planning. More than 10 years on from that initial gig, we still do it almost every year and we still don't know the songs! All about the love for each other and having a laugh but we always play to a packed house and have played in Norway 3 times including supporting 'The Buzzcocks' and 'Therapy!' at the annual 'Kanalrock' fesitval. Oh, we also played the 'Kunstmuseum' in Norway....all in all, not bad for a set of rock n roll rebels playing joke songs!!

The highest level display of lifetime friendship and drunkenness I have ever witnessed!!
