Redhouse

Redhouse were a 3-piece covers band covering audience friendly soft rock from bands such as U2, Bryan Adams and Mister Mister. The band made rather excessive use of the smoke machine and lighting!! They had numerous line-up changes - I had numerous stints in and out of the band but it was always fronted by the multi-talented Andy Myers who continued with both the band and solo for many years after I left for good. We had may great gigs and these were the days of 'The Three Horse Shoes' in Otley where there was always time for 'Just two more' (even if you only had one more!!). Highlights included a slot at Skipton Fake Festival.

Other members included Chris Greer (drums), Grant (drums) and John Lawson (keyboards)

I always remembering a comedian introducing us at a function - he said, "On next we have Redhouse - they've often been compared to U2 - compared to U2 they are shit!"

Peter Goacher continues to play with his function band 'Flashback' and Chris Greer went on to play with 'Saltworks' and now plays with 'Chicago Joe' amongst many other projects.
